We're feeling very blessed right now. We have great dental insurance and we found a great dentist! There are a lot of things I'm willing to deal with for myself, but I wanted to make sure we were going somewhere that would be good for the kids and not traumatize them for life. Literally!
Sophie did excellent at her first appointment. And, I was the total cheesy "blog mom" who brought her camera! She opened her mouth "as wide as a lion" and did not cry at all! We even got some smiles when the chair went up and down. The bigger smile came when they mentioned the prize box!! I was so proud of her.
She talked about the dentist all afternoon and when she woke up this morning, she asked to go again! Ha. She told AJ he could have a turn when he was big! "He is getting big, but he's not yet old" is what she told me! Apparently, she's old now.
Thank you Dr David for giving Sophie such a great experience...and for taking pictures! Not to worry, only the first appointment includes the camera. Her last very big smile is totally when she heard they had prizes! It's quite unfortunate, she gets that from me!
