Little Man...

Our little man is growing and changing so quickly. We are so excited with how well he is doing and how content he is. He loves his food and he appreciates a clean diaper just as much as the next kid, don't get me wrong! But, when all of that is taken care of, he loves to play. He loves to watch Sophie and he loves to snuggle. His smile is enough to melt your heart. Though his talking might be loud enough to give a startle, he can, and most likely will carry on a full conversation with you (or any item/lovie you put in front of him). As much as I was nervous about what I'd do with a boy, he sure has won me over. Josh, of course, was pleased from the start and they have already had a great first season watching football! And if you have seen AJ's size, you know it won't be long until it's his turn to play!

Dear Lord:
As Your little guy is in his crib sleeping tonight, please watch over him and protect him. Give him sweet dreams and help him to sleep deeply. We pray that You would hold him in Your arms. Thank You for creating him so perfectly and for helping him to grow so healthy and strong. Thank You for giving him to our family. We're so glad that Sophie loves him. We pray as they get older that they would develop a true friendship and deep bond. May he come to know You at an early age. We pray that AJ would be a man of integrity that has Your character. We pray that he would be a gentle man who is kind and loving, but also a strong man who fights for right. We pray that he would seek You and desire to know You all of his days. We pray that he would be steadfast and he would pursue truth. Thank You for all of Your blessings.
